About as heavy as the heaviest part of take-apart scooters. Yet, like a stroller, you just pop it out of the trunk and unfold it. The airline battery even takes off another pound or so. But the full size lithium battery is light compared to the lead-acid-cells of other scooters. Only small complaint, if any, is going on uneven surfaces on a slope. Center of gravity seems a little higher than other scooters and it appears to lift / tilt a little. Worried it might tip one day.
